Vintage and retro bedding sets

Our retro collection is vintage-style bedding: quilt cover sets in stripes, checks, tartan, houndstooth, polka dots, ruffles and old-fashioned florals. These are new sets with vintage-style prints, made for queen and king beds.

In Australia we call them quilt covers or doona covers. In the UK the same thing is a duvet cover, and a set with sheets and pillowcases is often called bed linen.

Vintage bedding questions

What comes in a vintage bedding set?

Most sets have one quilt cover, one flat sheet and two pillowcases. A few come with a fitted sheet instead of the flat sheet. Each product page lists exactly what is in the bag, and some sets have a matching fitted sheet sold separately.

What sizes do the retro bedding sets come in?

Queen and king. Measurements vary from set to set, so check the size chart on the product page against your quilt before you order.

What are the sets made of?

Most are 100% cotton. Some are jersey knit cotton, which feels light and a little stretchy, like a T-shirt, and some are cotton muslin. A few use other fabrics, and every product page names the material.

How do I wash vintage cotton bedding?

Wash it inside out before you use it for the first time. After that, machine wash in cold water with a mild liquid detergent and no bleach or whiteners. Each set has its own care instructions on the product page. More tips on our product care page.

How much is delivery?

Delivery in Australia is free on orders over A$99, otherwise A$9.95, and takes 3 to 14 business days. Orders to the rest of the world ship free over A$199, otherwise A$19.95. See shipping and delivery.

Can I return a bedding set?

Yes, for a change of mind within 14 days of delivery, as long as it is unused and unwashed. Items marked FINAL SALE cannot be returned. Our returns and refunds page has the full policy.
